What a gem this park this is. Situated along the St Mary's River on the south end of town (on Ontario St), the Botanical Gardens provide visitors quiet peaceful walking paths through several individually designed and maintained memorial garden spaces. Benches along the beach offer freighter viewing while relaxing. Open gathering area around reflecting pond, or a quiet spot along the shore offer great ceremony spots.

In memory of a Dr. Shula Giddens, a former resident, school teacher and coach, Shula Giddens Park is located on the shores of the St Mary's River on the south end of town, and invites you into our community.
It's a nice place to dip your toes into the cool water of the St Mary's ... and maybe hold a wedding ceremony in our quaint gazabo.

With amble indoor space, including folding tables and chairs, large commercial kitchen, restrooms and parking. A large open lot next door to hall which overlooks the St Mary's River offers the best of both worlds; indoor and outdoor ceremony and celebration.
This fabulous old building was once Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall. It is now home to Eastern Upper Peninsula Fine Arts Council. With beautiful table service, large round or onlong tables, chairs, performing stage, a fully functioning commercial kitchen and seperate bar area with fireplace, it's picture perfect.
